Grants and Loans for Homeowners in Unincorporated Areas

Alameda County’s Healthy Homes Department currently has funding available for minor home repair projects in the unincorporated area of Alameda County. The minor home repair projects would be grant funding up to $3000 for low-income owner occupied properties.  In addition to this, they have enough funding left to fund two major rehabilitation projects of up to $60,000 for low-income property owners that are occupying their property. The Rehab loan is deferred for 20 years and has a low-interest rate of .5%. Click on the image to the left for a brochure explaining a few types of repairs that can be completed.
