County Ordinance on Sidewalk Vendors to be Presented at Eden MAC Meeting

At the meeting of the Eden Area Municipal Advisory Council (Eden MAC) on Tuesday, October 8, the Alameda County Community Development Agency will present the proposed County Ordinance on Sidewalk Vendors. This Ordinance is intended to create a regulatory system for sidewalk vending that brings Alameda County law in clearer compliance with the recent Senate Bills (SB 946 and SB 972). The ordinance is in Draft at this time; the presentation to the Eden MAC is intended to inform the public and allow for response from the MAC, as well as from public comment.
